Open World RPG Games

Applied my skills to create expansive Open-world RPGs, involving intricate world-building through research, dynamic systems, Class System, Battle System, and various engaging player experiences. Each of the open world games contain unique mechanics that support the game by acting as environmental storytelling assets!

Worked on projects that prioritize storytelling, emphasizing the creation of compelling narratives, character development, and immersive storytelling experiences.

Battle Systems

  • Engaging Mechanics: Designed engaging and dynamic battle mechanics which include the use of Magical elements that may even apply status effects to the enemy such as paralyze.

  • Enemy Behavior: Designed and Balanced to attack according to its Health , Agility and range of Attacks!

Level-Up Systems

  • Balanced Progression: Balanced progression systems where Exp can be gained from completing battles, missions , dungeons, mining and various other mechanics!

  • Strategic Choices: Classes that have its own exp curve enabling strategy and contain their own set of weapons and magical abilities. (A Marital artist can have more Attack power and less magical power where as it will be vise versa for a Sorcerer)

Quest-Tracking Systems

  • Clear Objectives: Clear and concise quest objectives that changes as per the progression.

  • Quest Journal : Includes information that can help the player progress easily through the story and keeps the player intact with the objective of the game. It also includes special information such as Mission Difficulty, Rewards, Game Lore and much more!

Level Design

  • Immersive Environments: Visually appealing and immersive environments with various mechanics that compel Player Exploration.

  • Mechanics and Cut-scenes: Designing levels that encourage player exploration through interactive elements, hidden pathways, puzzles, cut-scenes and much more.

Merge Mechanic Based Game - Hypercasual

  • Merge Mechanic :  Collision of Two Similar objects producing a merge effect where a new item is produced through the merge.

  • Leaderboards : Integration of Leaderboards to provide a competitive experience for the players!

Game Writing

  • Compelling Narrative: Allowing the player to use decision making skills to take a rational approach in the story-line where actions may have consequences too! This compels a feeling of suspense and mystery of what might follow further down the line.

  • Consistent Tone: Every character has their unique personalities which makes the interaction interesting for the player. Incorporating relation based systems in these scenarios make the game more appealing.
